2026 Summer Program

We are working diligently behind the scenes to organize the 2026 campaign for our vikings. Each year we work to make tweaks to the program that aim to improve the experience for players, coaches and families. This is what we have planned for the summer leading to tryouts.

Parent Meeting

📆 May 21st @ 7pm we’ll have a booster meeting aimed at expectation setting for the summer program. We’d recommend all families attend. Check our Schedule page for meeting details.

Physicals

As of April 1, players can start getting their physicals. Get them in so your athlete can tryout.

Physical Form

Summer Training

📆 June 8 – July 30
The summer training program starts June 8th and the schedule is on our calendar. It is free for all who are eligble to tryout for Cape’s High School soccer teams.

We will be taking attendance and offering a reward to hardest working vikings 🛡️🩵💛.

Summer League

📆 June 10 – July 15
We’ll be fielding three teams in the DE Turf high school boys league based on the interest sheet. The booster program is covering half of the registration fee ($45 of the $90) for each registrant.

Summer League Registration

The deadline for summer league registration is May 15th.

Youth Camp

📆 August 3 – 7
Our youth camp running August 3-7 and is open for registration. This is a primary fundraiser for our Varsity Trip so please help spread the word to 9–13 aged (boys and girls).

Our players should sign-up as volunteer coaches for volunteer hours:

Mont Camp

📆 August 10 – 14
Our high school camp runs August 10-14 (evenings) and leads into tryouts. We want to see our players out there putting in the work to prep for the season and building repore.

Summer Camp

📆 July 20 – 22
Longer term we’d like to move in the direction of providing the chance for our athletes to attend a college camp together. Until that vision is achieved we are lightly suggesting attendance of the Mid-Atlantic Residential Camp at Washington College.

It provides the chance for boys to learn directly from college coaches and is a reasonably short drive.

Team activities

We are suggesting some team activities for the summer off the field.

May 17th – DQ Dash 5k
June 20th – Matthew “Ty” Snook Memorial 5k
July 12th – Seashore 5 Miler

** We are looking for a USA World Cup watch party. If you have a suggestion please throw it in WhatsApp
